1What we collect

CircleSpot collects only what's needed to show your circle on a map and keep the app running. That means your device's location (when you're sharing), a display name and avatar you choose, and basic technical info like your phone's battery level and OS version.

• Location coordinates — only while sharing is on
• Display name & avatar (chosen by you)
• Battery level & activity (walking, driving, still)
• App version & OS for crash reporting

2How your circle sees you

Visibility depends on the circle mode. In Parent mode, only parents see children. In Group mode, only the leader sees members. In Friend mode, all members see each other equally.

You can pause sharing at any time. When paused, your circle sees a clear "paused" state — never a fake or stale location.

3What we never do

• We never sell your location to advertisers or data brokers
• We never use third-party SDKs in the location pipeline
• We never share your data with anyone outside your circle
• We never fake your location while paused

4Your controls

You're always in control. From Settings you can pause sharing, leave a circle, or delete your account immediately.

• Pause sharing — one tap, anywhere in the app
• Leave a circle — your data is removed from that circle's view
• Delete — your account and all data are erased immediately

5Children & families

CircleSpot is designed for families. The free plan includes ads. We do not collect or share any personal data beyond what is needed to show your location to your circle.
